Hello Satellites are launching their exciting record! They will be performing at Spectrum on the 3rd of September supported by The Jewel and Falcon and in Canberra at The Phoenix on the 4th of September, they will also be making a special Canberra instore appearance at Beyond Q on the same day. After generous support from media, an excellent video out for Building a wall, Hello Satellites appear set for a bumper end to the year with the release of their record and subsequent interstate shows.
Here's what people have been saying about it:
"Delicate, distinctive melodies and the beautiful vocals of Eva Popov combine to create memorable, and moving songs."
Simon Winkler - RRR
"Despite the unique percussive touches, multiple voices, piano and strings, ‘Out There’ never feels cluttered or overworked... It deftly weaves seemingly disparate elements into a rich whole, and there's something truly captivating about Popov's vocal lilt."
Darren Levin - Mess+Noise
"Popov’s voice is sublime. She slips between delicacy and raw power so naturally it’s practically unconsciously embedded in her delivery, giving her words an air of honesty that would be hard to simply emulate in deliberate and constructed dynamic changes."
Mitch Knox - Time off
SEPTEMBER 3 - SPECTRUM, SYDNEY
SEPTEMBER 4 - THE PHOENIX, CANBERRA + instore at Beyond Q (6pm - 7pm)

Last week we told you about Dunedin trio Die! Die! Die! gearing up to release their latest album FORM due out in October.
Much of the album was written while holed up during winter last year in Dunedin, and that city isn’t the only Flying Nun connection either, with FORM being produced and recorded by Nick Roughan from The Skeptics.
FORM still has plenty of the Die! Die! Die! style of cataclysmic punk, yet, with the help of Roughan, the band have also crafted a new, more densely layered sound combined with haunting melodies.

FORM is out October through Flying Nun/ Remote Control.
