The wait is almost over for interstate punters. Melbourne flower-punk luminaries Sand Pebbles embark on a national tour next month to launch their acclaimed new album Dark Magic in Canberra, Sydney, Byron Bay, Brisbane and Hobart.
To coincide with the forthcoming tour, Sand Pebbles have released their second single, the Hell Broth & Bubble remix version of single 'Dark Magic'.
Catch the band launch Dark Magic at The Front in Canberra on Friday 2 December, Goodgod in Sydney on Saturday 3 December, Byron Bay Brewery in Byron Bay on Friday 9 December, The Eight Miles High Festival in Brisbane on Saturday 10 December, and Grand Pooh Bar in Hobart on Saturday 17 December.
Sand Pebbles have also added two more shows to the Dark Magic tour and will play at The Espy Front Bar, Melbourne on Friday 23 December and The Nash in Geelong, Victoria on Friday 6 January 2012.
On the back of supporting Galaxie 500 front-man Dean Wareham, the Sand Pebbles launched Dark Magic in Melbourne not once, but twice due to popular demand. Out now on Dot Dash / Remote Control, Dark Magic is Sand Pebbles fifth studio album and features contributions from Dean Wareham himself, along with Britta Phillips (Luna), Tim Holmes (Death In Vegas), Will Carruthers (Spacemen 3, Spiritualized) and Malcolm McDowell.
